FIVB Men's World Championship 2022

On August 26 in Poland and Slovenia, will begin the most important volleyball event of the year.
The tournament is organized by Poland (previously had this privilege in 2014), and Slovenia, the co-host. The Polish host cities are Katowice and Gliwice.
Spodek Arena in Katowice will be the host of matches of two groups (August 26-31) as well as semi-finals and medal matches (September 10-11).
The 1/8 and ¼ finals (September 4, 6, 8) will be played in Arena Gliwice.
24 teams were drawn into six groups of four. Two best national teams from each group will advance to the 1/8 finals together with four teams from third places with the best balance. Further competition will continue in the knockout system.

Volleyball is extremely close to us – some of our co-workers are players of teams that take part in the SL3 Tricity Volleyball League, achieving good results. Who knows, maybe some day they will represent us in an event such as the World Cup. We keep our fingers crossed for them.
